Vacation!

M and I are both on vacation this week. Aside from 3-day weekends, which are rarely long enough to get caught up on our paperwork and FedEx duties, this doesn't happen very often. We spent the weekend celebrating Yule and pruning our fruit trees, and yesterday shopping for Christmas gifts. We have one or two little details to wrap up, but that means we tackled the family gifts in approximately 4 hours. Not bad, when you consider how much family I have!

We'll be pretty busy through this weekend, and I have to go back to work on Monday. I don't have the luxury of waiting for dispatch to find me M-W of next week, like some people I know (*cough* M *cough*). I get to do my inventory on the weekend, rather than taking an office day... joy.

We have no plans for New Years, beyond having no plans or responsibilities. It's a rare and zealously guarded privilege, going unscheduled for 24 hours. We may or may not be up to visitors, and may or may not be home. Call closer to the date, and we'll work something out.
