Little Victories

It's been nearly a week, now, since the hail-mary-11th-hour-last-ditch effort to pull my project out of a downward spiral miraculously came through and things are continuing to look up. Every day that I come into work and find nothing wrong is a great joy.

I'm not the only one who feels this way. My lead sent me a string of smileys about half an hour ago, when he got my report that things are running as expected.

I'm so relieved that I could cry. Can you imagine what will happen when this one's officially signed off and off the books?
