July, July
I am so happy it's July. We've got a national meeting coming up for work, so I can see all my work buddies again. There's a slew of birthdays scattered over the next few weeks, so we're never far from wishing somebody a happy something. My favorite Sabbat is coming up. And most importantly... it's no longer June.
Woo!
Now I can focus on making new lists -- wedding, house, work, etc -- and getting ready for Fall. I think today was the first time in a long, long time that I woke up and realized I was genuinely excited about getting married this Fall (rather than overwhelmed by the as-of-yet-unsorted details or expenses). I'm gonna hold on to that feeling as long as I can, because it's all nice and warm and fluttery.
I don't care that I'm stuck in Van Nuys, wasting my time watching Robot TV. Or that there's more to do than I can hope to get done. It's July and I have a long weekend coming, and there's a promise of cake on the horizon, and everything's gonna be just fine.
