Ouch

That horsehair holding up Sword of Damocles may have just given out, insomuchas it relates to my project. A critical experiment failed today, and no one's quite sure how to move forward from here. Once I know what sort of damage this will generate, I'll feel better. Who knows, it may offer some real relief to be finally freed of this overly important spotlight. For now, I'll wait on tomorrow's group meeting and try not to feel personally responsible for things I can't change, control or foresee.
