3 months out

In three months I will be married, have a new last name, be on the first sizeable vacation I've taken in two years, be the primary wage-earner for my new family, and hopefully will have adjusted to at least one of these big changes.

All of the little details of wedding planning are starting to come due -- alterations, making favors, writing the ceremony, planning programs, RSVPs and table assignments, arrangments for out of town guests -- and I've finally come to a point where I can start identifying things I need/want help with. I think I need to make new lists, and trying to keep focused as the number of weekends before our wedding dwindles. I also need to stop adding new tasks that I don't have time for, just because it sounds like a good idea (or is sentimental enough to get me to commit without thinking).

I am very glad that I got my time off request approved so far in advance, because I doubt anyone would sign it now.

Now that you're figuring out what you can and might delegate, keep me posted on anything I could do.

I broke out the calligraphy pens for Katie's place cards, would be delighted to do the same for yours.

Heh, weird that vaca has to be approved. I've got almost 4 weeks and can't take it--too busy :(

Ooh,ooh, Lauren I have the guest list on a spread sheet. I could print the place cards from the computer. But there is a job on the wedding day that you could do. Man the guest book and make sure people sign in.
Of course, I haven't discussed this with the bride. But I think she might approve.

Set on the place cards, then, possibly with a bit of fontifying. Good!

Will be happy to take command of the guest book, if it doesn't conflict with my previously assigned job of making sure the flowers get moved from ceremony area to reception area.

I love you guys. I'll start making a list of things I know need to get done... and then we (or you guys) can divvy things up. I currently have a few arts & crafts things to do (make favor cards, design programs) but I think I can take care of them on our weekends. If I need help, I'll let you know. :)

Love you, too!

Let me know as you figure it out for sure. You know me and my arts and crafts! ;)
